Oh yes, this is much better than an ice cream truck rolling through the neighborhood. Fair warning–this hot pink La Gloria delivery truck that’s dropping off thirst-quenching Margaritas to your front door is actually spotted all over the streets of San Antonio.
It’s a perfect slice of heaven on a blistering Texas afternoon. But we thought this was cool idea–and just pondering if some Houston restaurant peeps may get wind of this and do the same.

Owner of La Gloria, Chef Hernandez decided to roll out this margarita truck that delivers frozen and and on-the-rocks straight to your door in the wake of the quarantine.
“Our Margarita Trucks are another fun and creative way to adapt to the ever-changing business landscape,” Hernandez told KSAT. “Today, safety is top of mind for everyone, and many of our customers are simply not ready to dine out; however, we know that doesn’t mean they don’t crave one of our famous margaritas.”
If you take a look at the menu, you’ve got several chilly margs to choose from–from their signature Blue margarita, Mango margarita to the Prickly Pear marg. Guests can get the drinks served in 16-ounce glasses with a 50 milliliter add-on of El Jimador tequila priced at $10.
Houstonians, if you head over to San Antonio and take advantage of the pink truck’s offerings, you can also get scrumptious Bistec Taco Kit to go with your Blue marg.
Before you order here, check out the delivery times and most importantly, if you’re in the delivery zone Your frozen margs to the door are available from 3 p.m. to 8 pm. on Tuesday, 12 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, and 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday.
“Delivering to our customers’ homes does not only make enjoying our signature margaritas safer and more convenient, but this new avenue of serving our customers also helps to rebuild our business in turn allowing us to hire back more members of our team,” Hernandez said.
