Wednesday’s Astros-Angels game, which had been moved to an afternoon start due to oncoming Hurricane Laura, now has been postponed entirely.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sept. 5 in Anaheim. The Angels will be the home team for the first game of the doubleheader, and the Astros will be the home team for the second game, which will be the rescheduled game. Both will be seven-inning games.

Hurricane Laura is expected to make landfall somewhere between Galveston and southwestern Louisiana on Wednesday night.

The Astros and Angels play a doubleheader Tuesday starting at 3:05 p.m. at Minute Maid Park. With the postponement, the Astros will be off Wednesday and Thursday before returning to action against Oakland on Friday night at Minute Maid Park.

The Astros Team Store at Minute Maid Park will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.
