The Harris County Sheriff’s department is investigating after a man was captured on video punching a woman and dragging her along the roadway in the Cypress area.
Analisse Quintana, 20, is the woman in the video. She alleges the incident, which happened at about 5:50 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, began with road rage along the Beltway 8 frontage near Philippine Street.

Quintana told Chron.com that the altercation between her and the man in the video started when she was changing lanes.
“I was driving off the feeder road (Beltway 8), and I was switching lanes, and upon me doing so I accidentally cut off a man who I noticed started driving aggressively after me,” said Quintana.
“He stopped beside me at the light and started yelling at me outside the window, and I kept putting my hand up so he can leave me alone.”
According to Quintana, the man had a small child in the front seat with him about 6 to 7 years old and was driving a gray Ford pickup model 150/350.
Quintana said the man followed her on the Beltway and got off the same exit to catch up to her at the next stoplight. At the red light, Quintana said the man got out of his car to confront her.
“I immediately felt scared and tried to put my window up, but it was too late he punched my window, and when I turned toward him he repeated to punch me yelling racial slurs,” said Quintana.
After the man punched her, Quintana said she got out of her car, and a fistfight started between the two.
“I knew then I should have stayed in the car, but my immediate reaction was to defend myself,” said Quintana, who was on her way to see her mother, Edna Mojica.
A bystander in the front of her car captured part of the incident showing the struggle between Quintana and the man.
“I have a lot of mixed feelings of hurt and disappointment with our society today. People were looking at this man repeatedly punching me, choking me and dragging, and no one helped,” said Quintana.
According to Quintana, she was left with injuries and had to be taken to the hospital by her mother.
A spokesman for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that an investigation has been opened.
